Why is this necessary?
Connecting your domain is how you make your new platform available to your users under your own brand. This process proves you own the domain and tells the internet where to find your platform.
Your DNS Records
In the setup wizard, you were given two unique records. You'll need to add both of these to your domain's DNS settings.
1. CNAME Record (for pointing your domain)
This record points your chosen subdomain (e.g., platform.yourdomain.com) to our servers.
Type: CNAME
Name/Host: Your subdomain (e.g., platform)
Target/Value: client-platforms.forgeos.com
2. TXT Record (for verification)
This record proves you have control over the domain. Your verification value will be unique.
Type: TXT
Name/Host: A specific verification name from the wizard
Content/Value: Your unique verification code (e.g., forge-verify=...)
Provider-Specific Instructions
Select your domain provider below for detailed steps.
- Log in to your Cloudflare account.
- Select your domain from the dropdown menu at the top.
- In the left sidebar, click on **DNS**, then **Records**.
- Click **+ Add record**.
- For the **CNAME** record:
- Set **Type** to
CNAME. - In **Name**, enter your subdomain (e.g.,
platform). - In **Target**, enter
client-platforms.forgeos.com. - Ensure the **Proxy status** is set to "Proxied" (orange cloud). Click **Save**.

TXT. - In **Name**, copy and paste the verification name from the wizard.

Final Step
Once you have added both records in your domain provider's dashboard, return to the setup wizard and click the "Verify Domain" button. All checks should turn green, allowing you to continue!
